The Village of Baltimore will be celebrating Arbor Day on Sunday, April 28 at 2pm.  A tree planting ceremony will take place at Basil Park.

The Village received a Tree City USA award April 19, 2012. This award from the Arbor Day Foundation and the Ohio Division of Forestry recognizes the work Baltimore has put into improving the Village’s trees in the last year.

The April 28 ceremony will be hosted by the Baltimore Downtown Restoration Committee (BDRC) and the Baltimore Tree Commission. Tree seedlings will be given away by the Tree Commission, and refreshments from the BDRC will be served following the planting.
