Restoration Projects

During the summer of 2010 the group scraped and painted the outside of the Firehouse, as well as replaced windows. The work will continue in 2011 with landscaping and sidewalk repairs. We look forward to preserving this piece of Baltimore history.

The BDRC is also committed to restoring the Victoria Opera House located at the corner of 158 and 256. Many residents don’t even know that we have a diamond in the rough sitting right here in Baltimore. The theater is the last of its kind in Fairfield County. The Village of Baltimore had a Baltimore Downtown Revitalization Plan completed in 2002. Our goal is to examine and implement some of the findings to make our Village strong and sustainable.

If you have suggestions for the BDRC concerning projects or would like to help please contact us.
